Anita helped to raise £5,000 for the MNDa charity in February by running a charity Cook-off between a KTC team and some of their key corporate partners companies at Jojolapa Restaurant and Bar in Birmingham. KTC who are based in Wednesbury, West Midlands, supply cooking oils, sauces, dry ingredients and spices to the domestic catering/retail sectors and for export.
The evening began with a fun ‘Spice Quiz’ and then teams were challenged to reproduce a tamarind chicken curry expertly demonstrated by Anita using the ingredients supplied by KTC. The winning team were presented with a bottle of champagne and copies of Anita’s book, together with a fabulous culinary KTC hamper. The evening was rounded off with a fabulous meal at Jojolapa.
